4 family house.

Would it be OK to put a clause in an apartment lease that a tenant must provide 60 or 90 days notice of intention not to renew lease?

In standard lease forms, I always see 1 month notice is required; but realistically, that is usually not enough time to find a new tenant for the apartment without an interruption in renting.

Thanks,

Thanks, HG. I don't suppose there would be any problem doing this on a lease renewal, would there? i.e. putting it into a new lease for an existing tenant when their existing lease expires.
