How can you begin to even guess at whether or not this is an option for the OP? Do you have some sort of cite to the applicable state law? Of course you don't...we don't even know what state this occurred in!

Touche, I do not. And it would likely cost the OP more money that just paying the fine. At least is does in my area.

For you to obey the law, including posted speed limits. You have no right to drive, especially in high school. You should start taking the bus to school.

I know y'all cleared up my identity as to this thread, but just for the record, I do try to obey the law. I have had 3 tickets in my life all for speeding. None more than 10 mph over. All after I graduated high school. All of them paid, I admit I did it. I went to traffic school for the first. Sometimes that gas pedal just goes a little too far, and we get popped.
