i live in payette id. my ex-wife lives in oregon i want to know if i can force my ex-wife's husband to adopt my daughter i want to relinguish all rights because she won't let me see her anyway

You can not force anyone to adopt a child. The current husband has no legal obligation to adopt your child. That's a big request that you would be making to this man, not to mention the moral issues that I won't even get into.

You can however, exercise your rights to see your child. You can take her back to court and show her in contempt of a visitation order.

I appologize for obviously hitting a note with you, however, I did not judge you. I bowed out of it and stated I wouldn't get into it. You're right, I don't know the whole situation, I had only your three sentence posting to go on. The only thing I was attempting to hit on by my statement regarding morals, is the fact of--IS it right to "force" someone to adopt a child? Ask yourself, would you want to be "forced" to adopt a child?
