What forms do I need to fill out for an adult adoption in Harris County in Houston, TX? I am 49 my partner's children are over 20yo. I called the Harris County clerk and they told me to ask a lawyer. I just wanted to know the name of the forms. Her children call me "dad" already and I wanted to make it legal and official if that makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
