During our two and a half years of marriage my wife has committed adultery 2 different times with 2 different men. The first she lived with briefly before returning to work things out with me 7 months ago. The second was more of a one night type of thing in which she admitted the whole story to me about one week later. She now says that if I ever tried to use this in court she would lie and say I made it up. My question is, by Virginia Law, would I have to pay her alimony or spousal support in a situation like this? Does it matter when during the marriage the offense took place? The first time she committed adultery and lived with this person was common knowledge to both of our families so she cant deny that offense. Please advise!

Since you allow her back into the marriage or continued with the marriage after knowing of the adultery then the court will say you had no problems with it. ie, you accepted it.. does not stop you from trying and also to catch her in a lie.. but if she has a good attorney then your efforts will be wasted.
