Is this "neighbour" in the UK, or the US?

Are you seriously suggesting that he remove any cameras because they will capture your illegal activities?

So long at the cameras are filming things commonly visible to the public and do not record sound, they are generally allowed in most places in the US. If the property owners do not want the cameras there, then that is a matter between landlord and tenant and doesn't concern you.
