What is the name of your state? Barbados
My USC husband made a petiiton for me as a alien relative (wife)more than 2 years etc, my question is: once I go to the US , when I can travel . Can I submit that request for travelling before?out, I heard something about a permission to travel before I get the green card.
Can someone help me,please with some information.

The information in this article explains your status after entry with an immigrant visa, including travel and work permission: http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1073

As a Permenent Resident, your endorsed immigrant visa will be your proof of status, and will be sufficient to travel until your Green Card is made and mailed to you.
When you enter with an Immigrant Visa, you are a Permanent Resident, just as if you had the Green Card.
You do not need a special document for travel, like people who are applying to Adjust Status.
