I have been separated for 2 1/2 years and divorced for almost 1 year. We have no children together. My ex-wife (who did not work during our 7 year marriage) received ALL the marital assets to include my personal things and $350 alimony plus $200/monthly for a Visa in her name only; for two years. I received All marital debts. I am now re-married and my new wife has 3 children that I am supporting. I have been paying my ex the alimony portion $350 but not the $200. I can't afford all this. I offered to pay her $350 for an extra 6 months to even it all out. She has filed to take me back to court. Would it be in my best interest financially to just pay her the extra $200? She is able bodied, has no children to support, living with her mother. Do I have a chance to reduce this? What can I do?
