I live in Michigan and my wife and I are separated and she wants a divorce. I want to give her one, but I don't think that I can afford to pay her alimony. We have two children and I have two other children from previous relationships. I pay child support for all of my children. What can I do?

How long have you been married? Doe she work? Alimony is not automatic. Just because someone gets a divorce does not mean they get alimony.
