What is the name of your state? PA
I have been seperated from my spouse for 2yrs & 6 mos. A divorce has been filed. It is still pending because of joint property owned. I am a female whose husband is filling for alimony. I have primary custody of our children. Can someone file for alimony after waiting 2.5 yrs? He was employed and I was not at the time of our seperation.

His arguments for the necessity of spousal support would be pretty lame, given that he apparently has been out surviving just fine w/out the money up to this point.

Sounds like he's trying to push some of your buttons!
