Hello...I am from Kansas City Missouri. I have a question that you might not see often. I am happily married to my husband of 14 years. I also am involved with another man who is also married with the full knowledge and consent of both my husband and his wife. It has been a relationship that has lasted 3 years now. It is a lifestyle that my husband and I have chosen...It is called Polyamory. Not to be confused with swinging. She was also involved with my husband. Anyways...this other man and his wife are getting divorced. It has nothing to do with me. I am wanting to know if my relationship with this man will have any effect on his impending divorce? If he continues to see me...will it effect his impending divorce? All relationships were consensual from the beginning...his wife is now wanting to change the rules so to speak. I wouldnt be surprised if his wife tries to use "adultry" in some manner to her advantage. Do consensual relationships have any effects on divorce? Thank you for any info you can provide.

During the marriage it can be shown that she consented. However, since they are now divorcing, it would be best to keep away from the man until the divorce is final.
