im in the state of ct, been married for 16 years. been the stay at home mom 16 years. i have worked in the past but my priorities are always for my children before a pay check. my husband feels that i am not entitled to alimony since i am quite capable of working. he is in another relationship with another women with 2 small children who is also
divorcing. he has all intentions of moving her and her
2 children into my house once i move out and
he said that he will have to only pay me 124.00 a week for 2 of our children he feels that after he pays me child support that the courts will feel that he would not be able to afford to pay me alimony, and then meet his monthly bills. i mentioned that his new roomate will be liable for paying some of the household expenses, my questions is will the courts take into consideration what she is also bringing into the household.
