What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Currently under Corrective Action Plan. Out on STD getting feedback prior to going out I was reported for violating the CAP. No one has spoken to me about it. Meanwhile, am concerned while receiving treatment and/or follow up care when returned to work but under FMLA I could be terminated. Legally can this be done. If yes what are options fortune 500 company takes this step?

Yes you can be terminated while on fmla as long as it isn't based on the underlying issue qualifying you for fmla.

FMLA only protects you for being out on FMLA. It doesn't protect you from being fired for violating a CAP.

Yes, legally this could be done.
