You could end up paying the other side's legal bills, for example. You didn't read the link, did you?

Yes I did read carefully. There is, I believe good reason for appeal, and as I understand it, it would only be forced if the appeal was frivolous or made in bad faith. I am 100% confident that this would not be the conclusion, even if I was to lose again. Also the document mostly applies to defendants who appeal. I am the OP.

Well, the other party can counterclaim this time, even if they didn't the first time. The court could also consider your behavior arbitrary, vexatious, or in bad faith and award legal fees to the other side.
