Application for deck denied

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I live in a 55+ mobile home community and own my lot. A year ago my request for a deck at the back of my house was denied by the board of directors even though there was nothing in the docs that banned decks. One month later, the board banned decks.

A deck was built at the back of a neighbor's house a few (several?) years ago without asking for or receiving permission.

At this month's board meeting I again sought approval for a deck, this time armed with a building permit from the city and a statement from my husband's Dr that it was medically necessary. Again I was denied.

Do I have any recourse?

The new deck would have a wheel chair ramp ?

Sounds like a "Hint" "Hint". Make sure it has enough space so the wheelchair can be safely turned around.
