What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
I have an Unlawful Sale and Delivery Control Sub Felony from 1999, that was sealed in 2004. I have no other convictions or arrests.
I am applying for a position with Fedex, and they require a background check. I have several questions.
1. Can I say NO to the criminal background question if it is sealed?
2. I have passed BG checks in the past, because the employer used a service that directly contacts State Counties. I read somewhere that Fedex uses a FBI check. is that a fact, and will that give them better access to the felony charge?
3. Lastly, I was hired by Kinko's in 2003-ish right around the Fedex merger. Within 2 weeks I was fired because they discovered the felony, as I did not disclose that information. Does anyone know if Fedex keeps employee records for more than 10 years?
Yes,the odds are stacked against me, but I would appreciate if anyone has advice or some information on Fedex background checks.
