I am posting this on your thread because the thread you posted on was locked as I was posting and I believe it important to post and you don't have your PM turned on.

There is a difference between an elective surgery and an emergency surgery. Women who decide they'd rather have an ELECTIVE c-section rather than trying to deliver vaginally are entitled to that decision. An EMERGENCY c-section is performed after a FAILED ATTEMPT at a vaginal delivery or when there is extreme danger to either the mother or the baby. The woman has the right to refuse consent for the emergency c-section, but I can't think of a single mother who would hold her personal satisfaction of a successful vaginal delivery above the health and safety of her child if there is reasonable cause to believe that continuing with the labor and delivery would put her child's life in danger.
I have watched you respond to threads without reading or comprehending what was going on but this is getting out of hand.

THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY C SECTION!

It is unlikely that is she conceives again that any OB and or mid-wife will atempt to deliver her vaginally, because studies show that women, who attempt VBAC who have a history of ineffective contractions have a high incidence of ruptured uteruses and or stillborn children and the risk from C Section is far less. They also don't use prostaglandans on the cervix for VBACS for the same reason. Please get your facts straight. OP is confused enough without creating more confusion.
