Le often get a little confused between whats right and what the laws say. Just because it is a law, doesn't make it morally acceptable or right. Too many people blindly follow things like laws and leaders without taking into account other issues.

Yeah, right!! Are you always this stupid, or is this some little known 'stupid holiday' you are celebrating???

So I guess its ok with you that this woman, who did not participate or facilitate this crime, should have her personal property seized by the state because of the actions of another? I don't think that is morally right. Your stupid comment was cute, no wonder you're in LE with an attitude like that. Maybe you could explain my stupidity, but I doubt it, you'll just end up making yourself look worse.

If you want my personal opinion... I think the entire issue of 'asset forfeiture' has gotten out of hand and is full of abuses. Does it appear 'right' in this case? No. Does it appear legal? Yes.

And as much as you might want to make this a debate of abuses, that is NOT the intent or purpose of this forum.

Our 'task' is to provide legally correct answers to the questions asked. And my answers, and others, IS legally correct.

That's fine but you're basically confirming what I said then. LAws and morality are two entirely seperate things. Thank you. And calling me stupid really helps noone in this situation. If you are going to write like you're educated, you should treat people the same way.You really make yourself look bad ultimately. Now maybe you could explain my stupidity  :p
