I live in Texas and my ex lives in Oklahoma. She re-married earlier this year which made the alimony payments stop. I had to pay attorney fees related to filing the motions to stop the alimony payments. Because these attorney fees were directly related to the issue of alimony, are they tax deductible as alimony paid?

Thanks
