Auto Accident Aug 31st, ticket given to other driver

Please advise. I was involved in an auto accident on Aug 31st 2003. I was going straight through a green light and the other driver was turning left on a green light. The other driver was given a ticket for failure to yield on a left turn and also for not having a valid GA state driver's license. At the time of the accident I remember me, the other driver and a passenger in his car, and two witnesses who gave the cop statements supporting my story. I have just obtained a copy of the police report and it is showing two other witnesses, who apparantly are siding with the other driver. The insurance company of the other driver is "still investigating" the accident because he has only talked to one of the other driver's witnesses, and is taking a long time to come to a conclusion. In an instance like this, what are they chances that the other driver's insurance can come back and claim that they are not liable because of the other driver's witnesses when I have two witnesses as well and the other driver was given the ticket for the accident??? Please help!!!

Have you spoken with the witnesses/officer who took the report? I'd speak to the officer first.. then if he says the witnesses backed up the other guy's story - speak with the witnesses.

if they backed up his story you're out of luck....

there are four witnesses. two i know back up my story. at least one of the other two back up his story. it is possible that the other one will back up his story as well.
