what is the name of your state? arizona

i am currently involved in a federal civil case as the complaintant. the defense side has been avoiding their depositions twice now. ( it could be because we have records from another case that proves the defendants covered-up and broke laws) how long can they keep avoiding it. plus, after our depositions the defense attorney's have chose to change thier position in the case. what does that mean???

No lawyer here-
Changing stance- what do you think it means?
Something they have discovered made them change their stance.
This could be what your deposition was or something outside of that.

These documents you refer to- are they going to be used when you depose them?
If so (and the know what the documents are) this could be all the more reason to stall.

Hopefully you have a lawyer at this stage.

What did the court's scheduling order say about deposition deadlines? If they have passed without compliance, immediately make a motion to compel and/or sanctions. (And if the time hasn't expired, then why are you complaining?)
