Whats up with this holiness stuff? Do I really come across like that? I'm just a lawyer, with a little bit of military law experience.
You know he won't answer that, lol. I think he is a malinger and/or avoiding consequences of another crime.badapple40 said:Whats up with this holiness stuff? Do I really come across like that? I'm just a lawyer, with a little bit of military law experience.
I was referring to OP, not lvn4ever.lvn4ever said:BADAPPLE...no offense meant at all. My lame attempt at a little humor. You are often the only sane voice on this site. I always learn from your posts and enjoy them.....since a tremendously unfortunate incident drove me to this site, I take heart when i read your lucid and often wry comments. No offense taken, I hope....
- Pathetic enough to get what I wanted, how I wanted, and then turn around and tell others in my same position how to do the same thing. I just want to let you know no one on this site remotely cares about what opinions you have to offer. Your knowledgible advise (which you seem to have non on this subject) is all anyone is concerned about. Its obvious you have made it your sort of day time hobby to sit at work and hawk these forums to paint your little picture of what you think is right or wrong on the subjects presented here. Your not the only one. The are about 3 or 4 others Ive noticed doing the same thing. Way to go forum warriors...you sure are helping the world out with your vast banks of helpful opinions and tiny handfulls of useful information. Reguardless of what you think is right, I am getting out of the military with less than a scratch and more than likely so will this guy. Different people have different reasons they dont want to continue their military career. The people who volunteer to fight for this country do so because they want our people to always be able to live free lives and to make their own personal decisions freely. That includes decisions on whether or not to continue the military service contract they volunteered for. If you disagree with this, maybe you should take another look at what you really were fighting for (if you even did serve this country). Times are a lot different now. Its not like the conflicts we are involved with now are on the global destruction scale. War is about political power and money. And in all honesty no one else's power is worth my or any other soldiers life. You can attempt to flame this post all you want PARADISE...but the truth is whatever you reply with isn't going to change anything. So if I were you i would save the calories you would burn attempting to uphold your forum reputation and get to a recruiting station to sign up and start practicing what you preach.--PARIDISE-- said:As the men and women still serving are? Hey, heres your 2 cents back. You can keep it.
Your pathetic.

I am not in a good mood as I am dealing with a death in the family, so let me tell you this.
As stated I am a military brat, my father served 3 tours in Nam and I remember the day the 6"5 man surprised me in the lunch room of Delaware elem. school in Delaware NY in his BDU's and his beret. He was finally home.
He was killed in a jump at an air show in 89.I married into the military, my husband served in Desert storm. He gave 8 years and got hired on at a great company here in the city.
I'm not going to tell you what he nor I do for a living, other than we make a good living.
I do not agree with the war, we did not vote for Bush,...........but what does that matter?
The point is, you are spineless.
Now go to hell and bite me on your way there, and wonder all you like. You have enough free time for that, so it will keep you busy.
Sorry everyone,.......... really, really bad day.

Your father/husband serving in the military gives you about, um, I'd say zero credability. I had to laugh at that, and again realizing who made the comment. (Mr. Awol, with OTH discharge). Good job dude, hope your not expecting anything other than a fast food job in your civilian life.
It's pretty easy to call someone spineless hundreds of miles away with NO military experience/desire to join. I have extensive experience/ and can't join even If I wanted. I think my hubby put in enough time and I lived the life long enough.
Like I said before, just go use those calories you waste attempting to make some sort of furom reputation here and get to a recruiters office. And follow in your AWOL foot steps? Na, I'm not spineless. I use calories running, not sitting here on the computer.
Im sure you probably have some sort of inner grudge against most of the people in the service who have not or will not give as much as your father did for their job. Quite the opposite, If you mean I have no respect for you, then you would be correct. and you are quite hung up on a dead man.
Maybe thats why you hawk these forums looking for people to flame over their personal decisions when you obviously haven't done **** for this country. LMAO, well at least they took the M16 away from you.
Stop using your father's and husband's backround for your own participation/credit in something you know little about. I know it like the back of my hand.
You get a say when you earn a CIB/EIB for yourself. I'll say it when I want, like right now. None of that is going to help you in the least. Your OTH discharge will haunt you in the civilian market the rest of your life. That in it's self is satisfaction enough for me.
And remember death is just the beginning! Have another AWSOME civilian day! Alway's do, don't stress over me ok? Just go flip your burgers and keep telling yourself all you know is how to go awol and be spineless.
Your parents must be so proud telling their friends about their little Johnny.
