sweetsmokealena, I am about the wrongs being made right as much as anybody. I take that back. More than anybody. But I must confess this also.
When it is obvious that there exists a more than just a suspicion or a hint or a feeling that something is far, far, far, out of cink with the normal; what good does it do me, or what good would it do me, to lance the boil that sees my demise. Would not then be a hollow or shallow victory? It brings a new meaning to "short-lived".
Real estate. One's home. One's sanctuary. Meticulously constructed and crafted to the very 'inth' degree by loving caring hands? I can appreciate all of that believe you me.
But you had better hear this now, because later may be too late. It is precisely for this loving hand-made and co-crafted home that it will become a prison of fond memories and a torture chamber to the survivor of some heinous act by your unstable neighbor.
Not the legal question. (I agree with the legal remedies). But the core question lying underneath, should be this:
"Would you be happy in your home, alone; or would you wish your spouse to remain in this home, now alone; because it could not be permitted to let another human dictate your lives?"
