What is the name of your state? TX

My husband has a son that he paid child support. He lost his job for three months last year and has over a $1000 CS due at that time, we tried to pay monthly by adding to actual amount through CS Dept. This year we got some refunds, and finally its all paid off. I am so happy its paid off and now we have some extra money to save.

Congrats on paying off the arrears. Have a party, it's very hard to get even a small arrearage paid off, so you have evry right to be happy.

My hubby still has about 1 more year of arrears payments to go, and then his ex is out of our lives forever, and we plan on having a BIG party/barbeque where he'll burn the CS and arrears orders. (all the kids are grown so when arrears are done-it's all done).

Again, congrats and hopefully he'll never be put into a position to get behind again.
