Thank you for your advice.

If I have a Drs note stating apart of my disability requires me to have accommodations under the ADA which are to have days off to seek treatment for ptsd and my autism would I be covered then?

After the fact? No.

Had you requested an accommodation from your employer BEFORE you were terminated AND they had agreed to let you work a flexible schedule, that would be one thing. But you can't come back now and say, "My doctor says you have to let me take days off and you can't fire me for it".

Bottom line is, based on what is in your post both here and elsewhere, your termination was legal and you do not have any legal recourse.

It doesn't seem right for people to intentionally cause emotional distress on someone they get help for their mental health declining as a result of it and told they are fired. Not just me but others too. I was told by the managers I was doing well. (Yes, I posted on another site doesn't hurt to get different types of advice.)

Not saying you shouldn't post elsewhere - just verifying that I've read both posts so I've seen the other answers you got.

Not everything that "doesn't seem right" is illegal.

Based on the facts you have posted this is not an illegal termination.

Also I've seen multiple employees there out sick on STD or out for a day or two because of illnesses like a cold and car troubles and still keep them hired. I feel like it's discrimination or retaliation. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

STD is a entirely different situation than not calling/showing up to work.

I understand that you're upset. But your employer shouldn't have to call your mom to find out where you are when you missed work. It was your responsibility to call in (or, if you were unable to do so, have your mom call in). Having a phone number to call was your responsibility. Chances are, you were let go because you were a no call/no show, not because you were sick.

Discrimination is illegal that is what it was bullying. A hospital bill and it's not illegal? I was treated differently based on my disability, demeaned.

Understand, thank you. I tried to call in the next day but I didn't have the correct number because I was hospitalized. My brain didnt think to have my mom call.

So have some understanding for once.In fact, people like you will have to pay for people like me to stay alive. Id rather have a job then be on disability but looks like im not making progress in the job department. Thanks again everyone for your advice.
