What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

My friend is declaring bankruptcy in Nevada. Because of this he plans to stop paying his house and car payments. He was asking me if he should voluntarily surrender his car or let them repo. Anyone have any advice?

Personally, I think it's just easier to call the lender and arrange a time to surrender the car.
