I respect your opinion as you are in the business. However, I reached in my file and pulled out Equifax, the first one I laid my hands on.
Equifax reports (or I should say Dolan reports it to Equifax), the docket number plaintiff, which is a credit card company, paid civil judgment, dates, amount, etc.
I also just reached into a pulled out the first deline letter I laid my hands on-I guess I am kind of sick but I keep them for a couple of years- and it says I was declined because of number of recent inquiries in last 12 months, and also "public record, judgment". Thats the ways it's listed.
Again, I'm not in a pissing match with you, but just stating my circumstances, and it has happened more than once. It's kind of like when they say mortgage inquiries within a two week period count as one. Well, maybe to your score, but not as a reason for credit approval.
Just my two cents.
