What is the name of your state? Washington State

I have been with this guy for 3 years---Very long story, cut short here.

I no longer want to be with him.....We are living in my house, which I purchased 2 years ago. I told him I wanted him to move out, but he says that it is just as much his house than it is mine, because he helps pay the bills. It is in my name. I have a full-time job, 40 hours per week, always. He works for a few months off and on and just milks it. There was I time when I was supporting him and his 2 children (yes, stupid I know). I don't feel like I owe him anything, and he won't leave. What do I do? What are my rights?

I have to agree with Drew. If his name is nowhere on the title to the house or mortgage loan than he has no more right to say it's his house than if you were sharing an apartment together. If needed, figure out a time when you know he won't be home for a while and with the help of a couple friends, remove all of his stuff if he won't move it out himself. Be sure that you're not alone when he gets home to protect yourself and DON'T be afraid to call the police if he even starts raising his voice even with friends there. I'm sure you don't want things to end ugly but that isn't up to you anymore as you've already asked him to leave. In the future, I'd highly recommend living on your own until you at least have an engagement ring on your finger or even better, wait until your married...this is the voice of experience when I say it's a lot less messy and less stressful on you.

Sorry, but he has established a legal "tenancy" and his removal will need to be in accordance with your state's Landlord tenants laws. He will need proper 30-60 day notice.
