I felt pressured to make a decision during mediation and now I regret it. Can it be changed? Our court date is in a month. I agreed to alternating weeks w/2 days 4-8pm on off weeks. I now see a problem. I am not available @ 4pm. I had sole custody, will this 50/50 leave me not the primary custodial parent? Can I ask the judge to change it to one 24hr visit instead of 2 4hr visits?

Well, people do have the right to change their minds if the case isn't final yet, however that does tend to "turn off" a judge. Why don't you approach your ex on this matter and try to renegotiate. If you are willing to offer him the same 24 hr visit on the off weeks then he might be agreeable.

It is true that you will no longer by the primary custodial parent. The two of you will be equal.

Why did you agree to this in mediation? Do they pressure everyone to do alternate week? If so, that's really unfair when you've been the primary caregiver.
