My girlfriend and I bought a camper that was listed on Facebook. We met the lady paid her and got the title signed over to us. We were unable to pickup it up that day so we arranged for pickup a few days later. She was fine with it. The next day she says we can’t get the camper and if we try they will call the cops and report us trespassing. Do you report it stolen or take it court? Worried if we take it to court they will move it or cause damage to it. Not sure what to.

Has the seller given you a reason for refusing to allow you to retrieve your property?

You might try asking the police if they will do a civil standby while you retrieve your property

Other than that I don’t see any action available short of going to court.

She gives us a different story ever time we speak with her. I believe it’s her boyfriend that is mad at her for selling it so cheap.

Then I suggest speaking with the police to see if they will assist you in retrieving your property. It actually could be seen as a criminal act but it’s unlikely the police would go that direction. They may be willing to do a civil standby but that is up to them

Short of that I think suing to have the court order they allow you to retrieve it is your only other option.

Roughly how long would it take to get a court order?
(Worst case scenario) If they would move it or cause damage it what could I do. I just don’t want to be out my money and camper.
