What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Mo My boyfriend of 3 years is doing some jail time for a white collar crime. My issue has to do with his wife. She filed the divorce papers after he went ot jail, so i hired a lawyer to reprsent him. His wife wants me to have visitation with the kids. Since I am just the girlfriend, how do i protect myself from her walking all over me. A few weekends ago I had the kids and told her to pick them up on Sat but she didnt show up until sun. night I couldn't get a hold of her. she left no number. My thing is i want her to drop off the kids at 6p on friday and pick them up no later than 4p on sunday is there any way i can force her to do tthis?

Uhhhh, In my PERSONAL opinion, you should be happy she's letting you see those kids at all. Suggest nicely to her the times, but nothing more.
Don't be pushy about anything or she may just not let you see them at all, and she CAN do that.

Why would "wife" want "girlfriend" to have visitations?

At first thought I came up with "cause mom doesn't want to be tied down 24/7 with the kids, and you are a free babysitter"

If that is the case, then good luck on getting her to pick them up when you say. If I was a betting person, I would bet you that as time goes on, she will get later and later in picking them up, till you have them more than she does!

Yep..

Free ride for momma, if you don't stop it now, you'll soon be the unofficial custodial parent with no rights and all the worries. You're being used and I would think your boyfriend should have a gentle talk to 'their' children's mother ASAP!

Yeah sounds like it to me. Here she has this girl that is willing to watch the children for free while she goes out and parties. NO you have no legal right to the children but if your BF does go to court fo this it might help you if she uses you like this. What are your chances of your BF getting visitation? It might happen but it is not very likely.
