Thank you quincy! Gail has come to my rescue before in different issues AND YOU have came to my rescue in different issues also!

Appreciate you guys!

Trish

We appreciate the thanks, Trish.

What you will want in court to recover the advance rental payments on the car is evidence that there was an oral agreement between you and your ex boyfriend whereby you would be given full use of the vehicle if you made the monthly payments (text messages or emails can help support this agreement), and you will want evidence of your monthly payments and the advance payments (checks and/or receipts which show the terms of the agreement and indicate the contract was to remain in effect past the time he took the car), and you will want evidence that your exboyfriend breached the contract terms by taking possession of the car even though you met your obligations under the agreement.

There is little you can do about your ex boyfriend's influence over your son. That your son is driving without insurance will fall on him (and your ex boyfriend/car owner) if your son is stopped by the police or is in an accident.

You can report illegal drug use to the police which might result in state action against your son's girlfriend and her mother - but you also risk the arrest of your son. That decision might be a difficult one to make.

Again, thanks for the thanks.

Good luck.

Pk guus since you've read the whole story let me ask you this.... So we have a telephone involved a telephone number involved a car involved and then the eviction...

I believe the goon ( landlord) is going to try to bundle all of this into the eviction... Shouldn't that be three different Court actions?

Should the eviction be an action separate from an action over the car and phone? The eviction is s landlord/tenant issue. The car is not a landlord/tenant issue. So, yes, They are not related.

I assume he was unsuccessful in kicking you out before the 31st?

Yes you should have filed a countersuit.
