I own a Condo in Mass. I received a letter from the condo association that they have a water/sewer bill of $39,454.65 It doesn't indicate how long it took for this amount to accumulate. I don't think the bldg. manager is running things correctly.

What rights do I have to make sure all building bills are being payed on time?

Also how can I make them fix water leaks in the bldg. that should have been fixed 3 years ago after part of the roof blew off?

Thanks!!!

I wonder if your city water dept can tell you how long these charges have gone unpaid, BUT the bigger thing is having the books looked at by a independant auditor /accountant the only reason I say this is because a unpaid bill of that size doesnt pass the smell test , you know what I mean like what else is not paid? AND for _ _ _ sake get involved in the management of the place because if that money is missing every one the unit owners may have to make up the missing funds.
