Busted for buds..please help

i am a 17 yr old who was recently arrested for possesion of marijuana, pos. of paraphanlia and intent to sell. i had a little under a half oz., a sweet leaf grinder, and a non-functioning digital scale. i am curious to know what my charges would be when i goto the courthouse. and also, because of the fact my scale does not function, could my intent to sell charge be scratched?

First, you'll most likely be charged as a juvenile offender. It was under half an ounce, so I don't believe it will be any more than a misdemeanor. I can't tell you honestly if the intent to sell charge will be dropped. The fact is that you had it on you, therefore it was yours and they can charge you for it. Cops are evil like that.

the police only make the arrest. The DA or CA decides on the charges that are made.

I Realize that i was guilty of the charges and i know i did wrong, but that wasnt my point. i was curious to know what would happen in court b4 i went. i made a mistake and ready to suffer the consequences. this message board is for ADVICE, not to make people feel like ****.

i went to court and got 1yr probation possibly less. and i thank those who offered their help to me. and the rest get a life and keep your comments to yourselves. we all arent angels.

I don't smoke weed, but weed does has it benefits and it's safer than cigarettes. If they could modify it effects it could actually do humans good. I would rather have people smoking weed than cigarettes...

I just want to correct you on one point. Marijuana is NOT safer than cigarettes.
The amount of tar inhaled by mj smokers and the amount of carbon monoxide absorbed are 3x's higher than smoking tobacco!!!!

that is a medically proven fact, not an opinion. You say that you would rather have people smoke mj than cigarettes?? What if someone you loved was in a car accident, and was in really bad shape, you would rather have a doctor that just lit up a big fat one and was high, or would you want the doctor that just finished smoking a newport????
Think about it.

Ok, lets say you are absorbing 3 times the carbon monoxide. Well I don't think Pot has 3,000 chemicals added into it. Which is better? Having rat poison in cigarettes? or having pot?

or think of this, cigarettes kill millions of americans each and every year. yet we still sell them to people and let them kill themselves. marijuana is not legal because the governtment hasnt figured out a way to tax it yet. god put the plant here for a reason, not to be illegal to let the world enjoy its power and every good thing about it.

and smoking bongs or water cooled smokin devices, which kill 96% of cancer causing carcinogens in marijuana smoke. there are also other things such a vaporisers which dont have any smoked at all, which produces a very potent steam.

i think some of you government loving pigs, all you people do is listen to this goernment propaganda which eats all your minds, and dont realize the truth to anything, because the government just says its wrong, so automatically its wrong.

some of u people need to try and smoke marijauna and realize that its not nearly as bad as anyone makes it out to be, its not a trip like acid where you cant control anything you do, u cant fucntion nearly just as good as you normally would. Stop listining to THE MAN, just cause he says its wrong the dumb american people think it is.

So u people should try to find me some proof to the fact that , marijuana smoking is worse then cigarette smoking. there are just so many more ways its better i could go on and on all day, bring me the facts and ill shut up. ohh ya whats the purpose of smoking cigs???? atleast smokin buds you get high. so smoke and get high or smoke and die... you choose.
