The only fact I can personally add is where the dopers from my time are today. Do they have the best paying jobs as non-dopers? NO, Do they look as young as non-dopers? NO, Are they able to carry on a conversation like non-dopers? NO Are they trusted as much as non-dopers? NO Oh, lets not forget the ones that aren't living cause smokin weed wasn't good enough, they wanted a better high. I could go on, but you can put that in your pipe and smoke it. "so many more ways it's better" GIVE ME A BREAK!

Alright i think we are all blowing this way outta proportion. it went from me asking advice to everybody on this damn messaging board about fightin over marijuana. Listen its a free country we all have the right to our own opinions, we shouldnt be fighting over this. if i wanna smoke pot im gonna smoke pot, if u dont wanna smoke pot you dont have to. this is why we all live in america, to chose the decisions we want to make. I love smokin buds and im gonna do it as long as i live, and i dont care what any of u say about it, cause i could honestly give two sh*ts about anyone of you people on here. i am intitled to do what i please, and so are you. its an advice forum, not argue about who is wrong and right and i know the anylitical "a neighbor" wont rest until he is right and wins. but hey that how he chooses to live his life. maybe u should live a little.

You're right, its your right to smoke, get arrested, go to jail and have a very difficult time finding a job as a convicted dope dealer.
Unfortunately, its my tax $$ being used to prosecutre and incarcerate you due to your right as an american to break the law and go to jail.

Believe it or not, your perspective is as scewed as those who claim are posting from lack of experience. You ought to try living life without dope and see what happens - at least you would be able to have a more rounded opinion.

i can live a life without marijuana, and i currently am. i havent smoked for about 2 months now. i really dont see a difference about what you are talking about. u dont goto jail just for smoking pot, you goto jail for being stupid with pot. i love marijuana, and can live both the life of smoking and not smoking, its pretty simple and easy, i dont really give a crap about what you say, im sorry we all cant be "the king" and know it all. im more concerned about gettin my life straightend out and get a good career in my hands. but im sure most of you will say i wont be anything in life because i smoke pot, well im sure a lot of u people dont realize how many people do and the american country doesnt even realize it. i will be successful and when i do, well it doesnt matter now or later i still dont give a sh*t what any of you people say, its my life, ill live it like i want to. i think we should all keep our opinions to ourselves.

2) You said that you 'love' dope - Don't you think that in itself is something you should concerned about? Seriously, how many things do you 'love'? Here's the deal, its a drug - it makes you feel good and you like feeling good, that's why you 'love' it. If/When you can feel good without it, then you'll be able to recognize what I'm talking about.
3) "You don't go to jail for smoking pot, you go for being stupid w/pot" - THINK, I know its hard but THINK - if you didn't smoke pot, then you wouldn't/couldn't be stupid with pot. Perhaps, Pot makes you Stupid? Even so, if you didn't have pot, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to stupid with it.
4) You said you wanted to 'straighten out' your life - Here's some SOUND ADVICE, STOP SMOKING and it will be much easier to 'straighten out your life'.
5) Many dopers like you point at people who are successful and do drugs and say, ' Why can't I do drugs and be successful' - Here's my opinion; First of all, you can't judge someone's success by what you see, you really need to 'know' them - Secondly, I do know people who I consider to be successful who are drug users - guess what, they are the EXCEPTION not the NORM. For 'average' dopers getting ahead, getting a job, having a happy life is made much more difficult due to drug use. For example, getting busted with a scale and being on probation is not what would be considered successful - it sounds like your life is much more screwed up due to your dumb ass opinions regarding dope.

Got a life, but thanks for telling me to get one anyway. In regards to dope; Did it, done it, may even do it again in the future - and to be honest have NO PROBLEM with those who choose to or those who choose not to. For me, the stuff made me stupid and made things harder to accomplish. Once I had kids it just made no sense to force my kids to live with the consequences of having a stupid dad. After I stopped, EVERYTHING got a whole lot easier and better. For those dopers like mc9 who are 'trying to straighten' out their life, they should consider abstaining from dope to see what would happen.
IMO -I think it should be legal so those who smoke it will pay taxes and for those who really need it for medical reasons will be able to obtain it without a hassle.

Been there done that, bought the farm, BUT I'm much older and wiser, guess it will take you to grow up. Never had the cops to my door (I mean ones I haven't dated)? Wouldn't know what it feels like to be on probation, I guess maybe I was smarter at the time
Live a little??, Living better than you'll ever have it (if you don't change)! I'm on the right side of the tracks, can tell you tho, almost 100 thou behind in salary compared to my counterparts from my day, but still doing good for someone of where I came from. YES I can speak from experience, my experience also gives me the benefit to talk to small school age children, YES I go to schools and lecture. Lecture on what DOPE does to you, from experience mind you, I lecture on people like you that call you their FRIEND, with DOPE you have no real friends, unless your buying or selling to them, but turn the page, and they snitch like lil pigs, LOL Where were all your friends when you got busted? Guess none of them came around with any $'s to help you out? I can tell you from experience, while smokin, no one had the bucks to help you out in a jam, nor do they really care (just keep their name out of it), right now I have at least 10 people (good friends) that I can count on, and wouldn't even have to ask.
I can wake up every morning and be glad of where I came from, go to a job I LUV, I can function at work and at home, couldn't do all of it while smokin. not a good feeling not to be trusted, trust me I know! Like I say, it's from experience, would LUV to show you the difference in the people that never changed. Some get up and go to a job that they hate, for lil money. They drive around in cars they always have to fix, can't afford nothing better. You'll never get the girl of your dreams, cause she won't be smokin, and wouldn't want anyone she's dating to smoke (to busy workin and planning for the future). But there will be plenty of ruddy leftovers to pick from, and the two of you can fight over money, and dope. Oh, and just as booze shows on you, so does dope. The job you'll want will require you to take a piss test, you can't pass it, so why bother?
Oh well kiddo, I won't lecture you anymore, YOUR grown and have it all going for you, right??

yada yada yada. keep going on and on with your advice and your opinions. ill tell you once and ill tell you again, its my life ill chose what ill do. i guess the DARE program didnt get through to me, but hey doesnt that suck. go lecture people who are worth lecturing, cause im certaintly not worth you time, move on to another post, cause im done with this advice forum, i know what my consequences are, ill live with them. im on probation big deal, its a lessen in life. i still have my youth to enjoy and im gonna do it the way i want to, cause you only live it once. i honestly could care less about your past so dont waste your time really, thanx anyways. im glad you are concerned with tryin to set people straight, but i am who i am and thats who im gonna be.
