What is the name of your state?AL

This is not for me it's for my brother. About a month ago he purchased a van my my great aunt. Well THE DAY AFTER, my brother took it in for an oil change and a check up. Well on the way home the van broke down.

The aunt was contacted and she said that he needed to get someone to tow it. Didn't want to take responsibility for it or anything. But then they take it to a mechanic and they say that it will cost at least $1,500.00 to fix it. Does he have the right to get his money back on this sale?

I will assume the vehicle was bought as is. This means the seller has absolutely no obligation to refund a penny. Your brother is fully liable for any and all costs. He should have had the vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic prior to handing over the money. Do the words "Caveat Emptor" mean anything to you or your brother?

Uh, let me see.. Do you think I would come on this site if I DIDN'T NEED ADVICE? Really.. I think you are a real piece of work.. I have been coming on here long enough, to just get to the point TO AVOID THE REMARKS...

So basically?? I could have done without the last sentence.. But thank you for your time...
