What is the name of your state? IN

I am curious. Is there a way to buy a car using a credit card with a cash back benefit and then transferring the balance to a credit card with 0% interest on balance transfers for the life of the credit card?

It all depends if the dealer will accept the credit card for the payment.
Some do, some don't. I did this with a used car a few years ago to get the airline miles, then paid if off when the bill came.

a good friend of mine was down in kentucky (were both in NY)

his van broke down, he got angry went to a car dealer and bought a 2 year old cadillac. then he bought as hitch and rented a car tow dolly.

he sued his AMEX for all of this

when he got back to NY, he had some ANGRY AMEX Lawyers waiting for him. It seams amex couldnot put alien on the vehicle. SO if he didnt pay then hed own the vehicle free and clear. he paidit as agreed but, it was a hassle (funny hassle though)

Id say depends on dealer, if its a newer carthen the merchant rate will be high on it. Most dealers wouldnt want to pay that % to there merchant acount. BUt it can be done, find a dealer, talk with him and see if you can make an agreement
