What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN

I was reading another thread and noticed a comment about BHA pay is not considered in child support calculations.

Is this correct?

My lawyer did a support worksheet for my EX and myself because our support had not been evaluated since 1998 and he was in arrears. She did include his BHA in his gross income for the worksheet. Was this incorrect for my state? Is there somewhere I can find that information? I have checked the guidelines for IN and there is nothing about Military pay that I can find.

Thanks!

BAH is usually included in the child support calculation.

Thank you LdiJ!

Just wanted to make sure it was all correct before we sent the settlement proposal out. My laywers legal aid didn't seem to know for sure when she asked me about it.

I would be inclined to add a notation stating how the number was determined. This will do two things:
1. It doesn't put you in a bad position when someone produces a pay stub and the numbers don't match.
2. BAH can change after a divorce, so it makes it easier to make sure the numbers are correct.
