we are the grandparents of twin 3 year olds in california.
thier parents have abandoned them and can't be found. we want to obtain guardianship before the authorities step in.

we are looking for a completed example of the forms required to file for guardianship of minor children in california.

we have the necessary forms but are having some trouble interpreting them and filling them out. examples of the completed forms would be of great assistance to us and would be whole heartedly appreciated.

california puts out a book for legal guardianship. it has examples in it. it's likely you can find one in your local library. i am a legal guardian in california. the paperwork and process is simple if there is no conflict.
