What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

i have been called back to active duty from inactive ready reserve status, this was a completely unexpected development. my landlord wants me to pay for one more month of my lease ($1250) and also wants to keep half of my deposit ($350 in his pocket). there is a military clause in my lease, but it does not say if he can charge an extra month of rent and keep half of my deposit. do i have any recourse on not having to pay an extra month of rent and relinquishing part of my deposit? do i need to retain legal counsel or can i go at this without an attorney? any help on this matter would be greatly appreiciated. tariq sekander

If there is a military clause in your lease, you should just be able to show your orders and pack up. That is what the clause is for. To protect you and other military when something like this happens. You never know when you will be getting orders to move or deploy. Things come up last minute. You might go to the jag office (if you are by an military post) and they may be able to assist you.
