What is the name of your state? Indiana can a collection agentcy garnnish your wages after being to court I agreed to make the payment and made all payments and were on time and not late they said i missed a payment and then said that it was late it was due on the 6 and it got there on the 2 and then they started to garnish my wages i called them they said if i could prove to them i payed and payed on time they would stop the garnnishment now I have proved to them they still say they will not stop the garnishment they are taking more than i payed to top it off the bill is my x husbands bill where he took the kids to the hospital and he is suppose to pay half of the medical bills but he never has done that not even child support

wert, don't you know, that is one long sentence that saves the use of capital letters, periods and joins numerous unrelated ideas and statements together such that the sentences actually form a super sized paragraph of incoherent ramblings resembling fodder or tantamount to venting such that no one could easliy comprehend the actual intentions of the writer being that it does get rather confusing to have to read the stuff in addition to making a futile attempt at understanding it

In order to prove your case, you will have to put your comments in writing. The sentences will have to be spelled correctly and the punctuation will have to be correct. These people are extremely emphathetic and helpful, but you need to help them. I am from IN also. I score the ISTEP and a paper like this will get the lowest possible grade. You are probably better than that.

*** That issue (husbands responsibility to pay is not relevant). Simply, once YOU pay the bill, you will then have to sue him for his breach of contract with you.

Can a Collection Agentcey be wrong

I'am planning to take my ex-husband back to court. At this time I can not afford a attorney. All my money goes to medical bills which are about $ 10,000, and 4 of the bills is where he had taken the kids to the hospital. Then he has them to send me the bill. I have taken him to court several times, and I always payout alot of money and he always gets by without paying anything. The court never does anything to him, even when alot of times he is suppose to be in court for the same bill. I always thought if you did not show up for court that you would have a warent out for your arrest.

*** Nope. That is only done when/if he refuses a court order and certain actions are done (such as process service, etc. on the order.... depending on local rules).
