What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I work for a small excavating company with about a dozen employee's. Over the Thanksgiving holiday the boss said we were also taking Friday off. Only some of us got Fri. off paid and those of us that got the day off paid were told NOT to say anything to the 2 guys that didn't get paid for Friday.
The Boss is angry at the 2 truck drivers because he had them haul material (about $1000 worth of limestone) to a cash job he was doing for a friend but wanted the drivers to charge the material to a big local company that we were doing some work for.

There's not enough room to explain everything here but in short, can he pay benefits to some employees and not others?

Yes, a boss can theoretically give benefits to some employees and not others. As long as who does and does not get the benefits is not determined by a characteristic protected by law, it's pretty much up to the boss.

Based solely on what you have posted here, I'm not seeing anything illegal.
