What is the name of your state? Oregon

I have been searching the bankruptcy laws and have found myself no answer so here it goes.

I filed Chap7, now after the thing has been discharged almost 24 months they are trying to collect off of my spouse, with a lein

Can they do that?
it is a med bill incured by me, though at the time we were married
I really need to find the law so that I can read and determine if they are able to do this or not.

Thanks

Hopefully this creditor was listed in your C7. If so send a letter to them with your BK case No. and copy of your discharge , and tell them to cease and desist on collection. If not then you probably still owe although your spouse should not be liable unless she signed agreement to be responsible for debt.If you did not include this in the BK then your joint assests could be attached or levied but don't think they could come after her individually i.e. wage garnishment.
