What is the name of your state? fl

Can a California employer stop a former employee executive from stating that the employee is a "former manger with ABC company" in a television ad of the employee's new business?
Note: there is no previous employment contract at issue.

There's no law that would prohibit that but I suppose the former employer could go to court and try to get an injunction prohibiting the individual from using the employer's name.

On what basis of possible argument?

Asuming that there is no competiton or disparaging aspect to the ex-exec's business or ad.

But they still may object to unauthorized use of the company's name, particularly to promote another entity's business objectives.

Before a Judge in court

On what legal basis could they object and base an injunction on, when the only reference is both true and a sub-text that states the ex-exec's title with the former company?
