What is the name of your state?texas
i moved in with my boyfriend and gave up my home and things and i have been helping him physically and financially remodel his home. since i have established legal residency, can he ask me to leave or move out whenever he wants? :confused:

She can vote in that district based on this being her legal address.

And, no, improving a house you merely occupy is no different than improving a house you rent. You do so because you want those changes, but doing them does not vest you with ownership. So stop improving his house until you are on title.

No kidding sweetie, but the house address establishes the municipality, etc. It, of course, does NOT establish ownership.

If he wants you out, he merely gives proper notice under your state's landlord tenant laws and you may then be evicted when the time is up.

i was told that once i "established residency" legally (drivers liscense, voting, insurance, ect..) that he could not because i had established residency with him. i thought it sounded far fetched myself but i am grasping here. i have to have some rights.

Yes, you have the right to look for a place to live. What you are suggesting is 'squatter's rights' or 'Ownership interest' which do not exist in your relationship.

You'd have a tenancy right, which means he has to give you certain notice before kicking you out. It doesn't mean he can't kick you out. Just that he can't kick you out immediately.
