After all, it's not as though she's asking about filing an I-130, etc.
his next duty station is in italy for 4 years and we can live there together without him to fill an I-130.

That is quite lucky on your part. You have four years to find out whether things are going to work out between the two of you before you have to decide where you are going to live long term. If things do not work out you will be able to stay in Europe with your child.
