what does that have to do with the question you asked me?

If you used your real name to register then it would not be a "fake" account. It does appear you have violated the tos by not updating your email address though as required. (Based on their statement about no account registered to the email you used in your Correspondence)
Regardless, they own the marbles. They don't have to let you play with them, even if they let you keep some of them in your marble bag for awhile where you presumed they became yours.

I've been using this email for years. I didn't need to update it. They permanently removed my account, so there's no account left for me to recover with the email I had it registered with.

Your account has been deleted as far as you accessing it goes. It is still there.

I don't know about that. It says there's no account registered with that email (when, in fact, it was). So, I don't know.

It's still in their system. Apparently there is something very suspicious about your account so they have terminated your account. They retain the information for their records. How else would they know whether somebody attempted to create another account in their name after their's was terminated and had not sought permission from Facebook to open a new account?

I haven't attempted to create a new account, just log back in.

Oh for pete's sake. Don't you actuslly read anything fully?

Constantly. But your wording is a little confusing. Are you suggesting I tried to rename my account using someone else's name and was deactivated for it? Because, had you understood what I said earlier, I renamed my account two years ago and had no incident with it until recently, where I tried to log in after work, and it prompted me to upload my ID.

I was explaining one reason (of many) of why they would retain all of the information regarding your account.

Ah. Well, hopefully my complaint through the BBB helps with all this, at the very least.

You do realize that the BBB has absolutely no regulatory authority, right?

Facebook has just laughed at you, and has done so loudly and with much gusto.

Harassment indeed. Laughable.

And the numerous people on Facebook that use false names to distance themselves from stalkers, abusive partners, etc? Those are fake accounts and should be taken down, too?
SHOULD they be taken down? Probably not.

COULD they be taken down? Absolutely! Heck, as you have been informed, FB can take an account down for whatever reason they choose - even NO reason.
