@cyjeff, didn't come here looking for sympathy. Came here looking for legal information. Also permanent record do not really mean anything. It is more of teachers scare tactic than anything else.
@cdwjava, she is 3.8 gpa student so i really am not worry about it
@cbj, students job is go to school and learn and not do janitor job such cleaning table, sweeping floor, mopping. This is not Japan, Mexico, German etc where it's normal for student to do such thing.

The maid didn't even have a B average in high school!
Also, she was German.
In actual fact, it is *not* "the janitor's job* to clean up. It is the job of anyone the school decides to assign to the task.
It is not controlled as child labor because it is not considered to be labor, as in a job. It is simply part of the school experience. The purpose is not to exploit them as labor. It is to teach them there are rules and when you break the rules, there are consequences.
If you have such a problem with your children doing manual labor, then refuse to allow your kids to do the manual labor but you will eventually be faced with a punishment you cannot refuse to allow. After this, there would probably be detention, suspension, or expulsion.
I'll tell you what. Why not just ignore everything you have been told here and call the department of labor and file a complaint of violations of the child labor laws. See how far that gets you.
and why would you have your children clean up when you have a maid?
So they learn a little responsibility for themselves. So they have respect for what it means to do a little manual labor and to learn why they need to make a serious effort in school so they are not limited to manual labor jobs in their future.
