What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Hampshire

We are having problems paying our bills, creditors and collection agencies are harrasing us at home and work and they have threatened with taking us to court and another one is threatening with garnishing wages can they do that, we have offered to try to work some kind of payment arrangement but they have refused.

Not sure what your question is, but if you are asking whether or not wages can be garnished. In most states, the answer is yes but I do not know about NH. That said, garnishment can only occur as a remedy for satisfying a judgement. So, if the creditor does not have a judgement, they ordinarily cannot garnish. The garnishment rates vary widely from state to state, but can be found on the Internet.
