What is the name of your state? Tennessee

I have sole custody of my twins. There mother has disappeared out of their lives. I don't have any social security information on her. How do I find her and get child support?

You can try contacting the CSE agency for assistance.

HOWEVER, considering that you owe the mother over $25K in CS arrearages, even if you can find her you might not recieve any payments, the court might order that YOU pay HER.

She wouldn't get anything considering she was on welfare about all her life. Just if she had the children, they still need to be supported.

True that children need to be supported. Have you paid off the $25K in arrears that you owed in March of this year? (the arrears are owed to the state, correct?)

If she is on welfare, how is she supposed to pay CS?

It really sounds like she supported them alone (or with taxpayers help) while she had custody, and now you'll end up having to support them alone when you have custody.

It seems like I will have to do it without her. I'll probably never see her again any how. She also has 3 other children in state custody, so she'll most likely owe them too.

I could see if the mother was active in their lives just don't have custody. But for abandonment, they should also be brought to face responsibilities.
